Brittany Golden
Bio
Brittany Golden started studying silversmithing at Utah Valley State College in 2002. She is a resident artist and silversmith instructor at Sundance Resort. Her work is shown galleries, including the Sundance Gallery, and her popular silversmithing class is always a favorite with guests visiting Sundance Resort.

In her own studio, she offers a wedding, anniversary, or commitment ring workshop where couples can make their bands with their own hands. She also teaches other ongoing jewelry classes exploring many techniques and mediums.

Recently her jewelry appeared in “30 Minute Rings” published by Lark books in April 2011 and she has been featured in blogs and other publications. In March of 2009 she had a 104 piece gallery exhibit at the Covey Center for the Arts in Provo, Ut. and another 2 month exhibit in October-November 2010 there as well. Brittany studied precious stone setting under Blaine Lewis and more non-traditional techniques with Robert Dancik. She is a member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths and the founder of the Utah Metal Arts Guild.

Growing up in the mountains in Utah, Brittany was raised to observe and appreciate the beauty around her and has been studying and producing art all her life. On any given day you’ll find Brittany with rocks in her pocket, just like when she was a little girl, and talking about the rhythms and energy of life which are reflected in her pieces and inspire her creations. When she is not making jewelry you’ll find her playing in the mountains with her boys
